ASTM D4151 Blanket Flammability Test Apparatus

Introduction:

This blanket flammability test apparatus is designed based on ASTM D4151.

It is suitable for bedding, including bed sheets, blankets, mattress mattress, pillow, duvet, and similar products that used to cover on the bed of the flame retardant performance.

This test method is use the standardize flame to burn the sample surface within the prescribed time, observing the combustion, degree of damage or discoloration of standard sample, in order to evaluation the fabric grading of the test.

Main Features:

1. This Flammability Test Apparatus adopts stainless steel cabinet, width 370mm x length 220mm x height 510mm, with transparent viewing window;
2. The needle flame of ASTM D4151 Blanket Flammability Tester is adjustable;

The needle valve regulates flame height; flame length is 16mm
4. The ignition timing can be set freely;

5.There is a safety gas valve in the cabinet, the gas could pass through only the machine power is started.

6.The burner of blanket flammability tester can rotate; the distance from the top of the burner to the surface of the sample is 8mm.

7.Flowmeter range: 0-200ml / min;

8.Timer accuracy is 0.1 s.

9.When the burner is turned to the ignition position, the ignition time will be automatically timed. The ignition time is 1s, with the function of time remind;

10.This apparatus is provided with standard stainless steel sample holder.
